Babcock doesn't even have a very good team right now. Brian Burke came to Toronto Tim Lewieke did too. It's a great job in the NHL. People need to stop thinking it's Nashville.

Let's be honest. The only way Babcock comes here is if he doesn't re-up in Detroit and MLSE does what they do best. It's all about the $. Does Babcock have this burning desire to take a team that would make him a god if they were to consistently play well? Does he have the patience to go through with it? Maybe Shanaban and him have a repoire? I don't know. It's a nice dream to have, but it's just that. Not unlike when Stamkos comes here in 2015 because MLSE will do what they do best with him.

Love for the Leafs to have Babcock but it sucks if we have to wait a year. I mean it's possible it could happen a year from now.
