Caps don't touch that 1st deal. If that second one is for eric it's short and if it's for Jordan I'm not sure why you'd even want him. Raymond is streaky and Orpik is well past the point of usefulness. Gilbert would be a nice add but I doubt he'd come here and I could see Gionta re-signing with the habs. Also no guarantee we draft a Sam

I was just thinking last night about Heatley. Even if he has worn out his welcome there, it must be nice to have a player of his caliber in the playoffs on your bottom 6. I was also thinking he must have that drive to win a SC still, and he's always been a champion at every level. Him and Nino on the same line is pretty dangerous, for both teams I guess, but more so for the other teams

What assets? Out of Coho, Foligno, Pysyk, Hoff, Staff, the only one I'd call an Asset is Pysyk. Coho is on the line. Hoff could bring a decent return. But if for some reason Washington trades Ovi for Coho Fooligno and Pysyk, I'd say you do it.

Even with his poop work ethic. You need someone to keep fans in the seats and pucks in the net, and Ovechkin is that guy.
