Potentially. AV would push for him since he has good possession stats, not sure if Sather would want him, he seems to prefer the big names.

Montreal or Vancouver for him most likely. Don't see him waiving to play anywhere else to be honest.

Ya me too; Canadiens have anything we could use? Tinordi maybe?

I know you guys would hate this but I would do Burrows for Boyle and a second

I don't think NYR will offer much for a 4.5 mil goal scorer with 5 goals ,but Burrows has the history with AV and could get him maybe to score 25 again.

We drop a NTC again player and get a big forward who I would package up to make another trade package to WPG.

Boyle Markstrom Hansen NYR 2nd , 6 th overall, for Kane

I think you're both seriously under-valuing Burrows.

it has been said here many times. Burrows has a lot of value here but the Eastern teams don't see him that way . They don't see him play and they look at the stats, and say he plays with then Sedins and scores 5 goals and they think he is a wiener

I doubt you get Kane for that package. I'm not a Boyle fan, he's pretty soft for a guy his size.

See his fight tonight?

I know teams and fans are in awe when you talk about 6 ' 7 centers. If I was a fan I would not be trading him .

I don't think he's bringing one of a teams better prospects.

You mean fans not hockey people see him that way, trust me they're (NHL hockey people) much more in tune with reality than fans.

Hall isn't much of a fighter, Bieksa and any other decent fighter usually kicks his ass, ask Rangers fans yourself if you don't believe me. They rip on him plenty. Height isn't everything, otherwise we'd be cup contender if we get him and Lain as our top 2 centers next year. He's a decent player, but Boyle isn't a hard-nosed player or a heart and soul guy, he just doesn't have it in him. He's pretty good defensively though.

Rangers fans are definitely not in love with him, I'd say fans that don't watch him much are more in awe of him than anyone else. He's not a bad player, he's pretty good in defensive role, but nothing special or dominant.

Did Torts know much about the Canucks ? he didn't even know who Edler was. I think they know the stars not so much the secondary ,unless they are targeting them.

Coaches and GM's are a bit different IMO. This isn't pre-2000 anymore.

I think there seems to be a consensus that Burrows means a lot more to the Canucks as opposed to the perception outside of Vancouver. We would never be able to get back any sort of equitable return for Burrows, simply because his overall game cannot be summed up with statistics. Just for that reason alone, he should continue to remain a Canuck.

But I guarantee (yes, you heard me, feckers!) that Burrows will have a great season next year (barring of course any possible injuries, which throughout his career he's been able to avoid, other than this past year). Book it

Horvat will have to be included in a trade for Kane. Plus the 6th overall.

I'm the new and improved version

I'll hire a consultant from HB, DCT is usually the one who agrees with me most of the time so he's my leading candidate as AGM.

He's not a scout, that's why teams employ 10 pro scouts. Tortorella coaches, that's his focus.

I'm not taking any orders from Aquilini, he can buy me out if he wants to. DCT would likely quit the first time I go against his opinion.
