I like this. I voted yes for Lack. I think we let CS stay on the farm for too long he would have become a much better goalie sooner if he had more NHL time. Lack will be fine. I don't know about Markstrom but competitive juices make better goalies in developing players. - thundachunk
I dint think Mark was horrible , I think l
Lack will push him and speed up his process, at least give him the chance. Lack is our #1 |

Markstrom could very likely be claimed off of waivers. Former blue chip prospect not too long ago. |

Last year they thought he was the second coming and would never have moved him for Luongo. This season they couldn't get him gone fast enough. Hell they even threw in Mathias. |

It's because they change the way they officiate during the playoffs. "Let them play" is actually their downfall. They suddenly choose to let some penalties go and randomly call some, instead of just calling them all. Basically they have a big say in the momentum of the games as they basically choose when they "let them play" and when they "make the right call". (frank)ing hilarious how everyone just accepts this and is fine with it, then those same people get pissed when their team gets screwed. - Nucker101
Say what you will about the sport, but I can tell you that if this was a football (soccer) final or semi-final in South America or even parts of Europe, fans would not only go ape sh*t if they had to endure this kind of inconsistent refereeing but the referees in question would be in very real danger of bodily harm. If you ever want to see what 'fans' are about, go to any intense rivalry of a Premier League Match or see two close South American sides battle it out, they are the quintessential fanATICS . If the official decided to ref the game based on his view of ensuring it was based on 'momentum', they would be run out of the stadium quicker than you can say Tommy @#$@# Wingels
With respect to Lack, why would he not be able to handle the number one spot? as someone pointed out, I think what we need is a very steady back-up who can play more than a few games. We've already seen that it's not exactly a goalie's market out there, so theoretically we should be able to acquire someone of such ilk. |

I meant no need to go after Halak at 4 mil per , use that money to get a guy like Moulsen for around 6 instead. |

Rolli will have a say when it comes to goalie development. I have a feeling his is one of the few safe jobs. $hit he may even get a raise. |

You had me up until the last part. Moulson turns 31 in November, he's gonna demand 5 years at 6 million per with a NTC. He'd quickly become part of the "stale" core that we're all tired of. |

talk about a little incentive to ensure you are focused on making the proper calls!
And it's actually not just referees who are subject to potential real threats of violence. Remember the Colombian defender who was killed because of an error that cost his team a win? |

Probably already one of the highest paid goalie coaches. He may push for his boy Halak, but it depends on what he thinks of Markstrom of course. |
