Exactly, weren't we saying the same thing in 2011 and everyone called us whiners, now it seems everyone is whining about the officiating.
- A_SteamingLombardi

I don't see anybody whining here.......I see opinions based on observations. Kings have been beneficiaries of bad calls. I just see the officiating not being as consistent as years past.

Not exactly feeling sympathetic towards other teams woes right now. There is a lot of hate in my world and I don't see it getting any better until little Napolean is gone or until I snap and receive a lengthy ban.

I think you're definitely taking this the hardest out of everyone who posts here.

I guess being a Canuck fan for over 40 years will do that. I've seen several variations of this script in the past and know it will most likely be another 5 - 10 years before they challenge for a cup again. I'm hoping that Mrs. Marwood won't be spoon- feeding me and wiping the long streams of drool off of my chin by then.

It only makes sense to bring an experienced GT in to share starts with Lack. Let the season decide if he's ready. I think its too risky to assume Lack can carry a team an entire season and into the playoffs. I have very little doubt Lack can do it in the future but the Canucks need to tread lightly here after dumping two #1's and hoping Lack is ready for the responsibility. We know he can stop pucks but the circumstances have changed. Game 1 next season will be a whole different load of pressure on him that he's not yet experienced.

In a respectful manner, I ask you, in what form do you see this experienced GT? Starter or backup?

I would only like to see it be a backup. I don't think that Lack was our problem. I say let him play with an experienced GT backing up as insurance. And if that's the case, who would you like to see backup?

Dude, I say let loose! When was the last time you say a Ref in these parts? They are way too busy in threads with teams actually in the playoffs.

Who's whining? Carol asked a question about why Quick didn't get more than 2 minutes and I gave my opinion. It all worked out for LA in the end, so I'm pretty satisfied with how it ended up. No complaints here.

It will be a tough game. I think that everything that has happened in the series thus far will be irrelevant and it will come down to who plays the better game. The Sharks play a fierce game at home in front of their fans, so it will definitely be an uphill battle. The Kings have already won one on the road this series, I think they'll be able to do it again.

My original prediction for this series was that the series would come down to game 7 and that Justin Williams would score the game winner in OT on a hat trick goal. It didn't happen just as I had expected, but I'll stick by my original outcome.

I say stick with with what we have. I think the team will be fine once we have a new coach who can utilize the team properly, especially the defense. Torts system was the absolute worst way to use the players he was given, and i think a new coach who can recognize and play towards players strengths will do wonders for the team. Torts system was unsustainable (over playing top players) and stubborn (playing Bieksa/Edler even tho we all know it doesn't work). Allowing our mobile defense to play on their feet and check instead of flopping all over the ice will help Lack (I saw more own goals this season than the last 5) and reduce injuries. I'm not saying there still doesn't have to be some player personnel changes, but I think getting a coach that get the team back to playing puck possession hockey and away from dump and chase would be a start. Fire Torts already!

we are not going to win anyways next year. I would rather watch a young team develop than see old rekindled players. I think Both Lack and Mark can help each other develop to a good 1/2 tandem. We need to be patient with our young core ,let them make mistakes.

I like this. I voted yes for Lack. I think we let CS stay on the farm for too long he would have become a much better goalie sooner if he had more NHL time. Lack will be fine. I don't know about Markstrom but competitive juices make better goalies in developing players.
