Please die so we can make our snide comment about big spending teams and then crawl back into our troll caves.

I didnt agree with you on the Cooke situation, however good on ya man for this article. These types of articles are the kind we dont see enough in these playoffs.
The Wild are no joke at home, they arent out of it yet. Although I really hope they will be come Monday.

Despite being down in the series and facing elimination in the first round AGAIN, this is the best series so far this season! Good hockey, bad calls and bad plays from both sides, but still awesome.

Where to begin.... Last nights game was a complete travesty. The games outcome clearly acheived by way of absolute terrible and arguably biased officiating.

The Cooke penalty aside, the NHL should not be trying to point the playoffs in the direction they want them to go in, and after watching that debacle last night, that's exactly what I saw.

Now I'm not for a second saying the Wild haven't gotten away with a few, but last nights game was a complete sham of an a officiated game. Absolute nonsense.

No matter who wins now... this series is completely tarnished and bogus.

Could be smokescreen, but Roy said if Duchene plays tomorrow he starts on 4th line. I'm sure if he shakes off the rust quickly he'll move up in no time, but I wouldn't count on him being the savior to your offensive woes. At least not initially

Could also being Roy going "crap, we HAVE to get someone out there that can run a powerplay. DUTCHY! (Yeah coach) Grab the duct tape, you're in tomorrow!

The Av's have used up at least a decade's worth of lucky comebacks, and late game heroics in the past 7 months. Pretty sure it's got to be over now. Wild in 7.

No more pixie dust for the Av's.

Here's how I see it:

The Wild have figured out the match ups at home and clearly are able to shut down the Avs top line when they get the last change. In Denver, the Wild can still play with this high flying, young team. The wild win tonight and force a game 7 unless there is some Roy magic we don't know about. The wild have their backs against the wall and the team leaders have been in this situation before. I think if it goes to a game 7 all bets are off. Either way, it has been a fun series to watch.

This right here. Without Duchene, the Avs are a one line team. It has only been Roy working his matchups at home that has the Avs in the series. Well... that and 6on5 play
