Surprised how easy Chi handled them . They were cup favourites
- VANTEL

There is no better clutch starting lineup in hockey right now than Toews, Kane, Sharp, Keith and Seabrook (I know they don't always play together but when the chips are down you're usually going to find these guys playing huge minutes).

Toews is a f*cking beast. How mature were you, and what were you doing (and more importantly, what had you accomplished), when you were 25.

I think we touched on this topic earlier. Right now there is nobody I'd rather have on my team than a guy like Toews.

Edit: Notwithstanding the huge rivalry and dislike of a number of Chicago's players, you can't deny they play a really entertaining style of game. For moments in today's game, they should have been playing Sweet Georgia Brown in the background

They've got great players but not the difference makers like Toews, they need a number one center. Backes would be a great number two and Berglund a number three.

The 2 games worth remembering this past season were against Toronto and Chicago. There wasn't to many exciting hockey games last season. Boring hockey to watch. I know who I blame.

Is Berglund still in the league? good grief, what the hell happened, everyone was practically drooling about this kid just a few short years ago (mind you, he's still 25 so there is a possibility that he can still break out after several sub-par seasons since his promising 2010 campaign. During this series, the guy was pretty much invisible, other then the one game where he had 7 shots. Again, what the hell happened?

Edit: let's also blame Vantel on this one

Third line center at best, nothing more nothing less, if he could play more of a checking role he'd be pretty valuable.

Depends on line mates, but I could see him playing 2C on my team.

40 point player like Gagner - but BIGGER. Which is better for puck battles IMO.

Anaheim needs Kesler!

Kesler & Higgins for the 10th overall, Shea Theodore & Emerson Etem.

Draft Hayden Fleury or William Nylander with the 10th.

How come? He's not the Hitch of old, obviously he's evolved from his hard ass tactics but is still system orientated.

Nylander will be gone by then IMO. I'd do that deal for sure.

Draft Ehlers and one of McCann/Fleury/Kempe

I'd like to see a combination of Hitchcock, Torts and an angry - no, make that SURLY monkey (but dressed in those adorable checkered overalls). Just trying to think outside the box here, feckers

Hmmm, I'm beginning to think my progressive hybrid monkey idea isn't getting the enthusiastic backing I originally expected. Ok, so what about if we just go with the angry/surly monkey (but dressed in those adorable checkered overalls/suspenders?)

I'm kinda against the retread coaches right now. Really wanted Cooper before TB hired him.

I'm really liking the latest mock draft... I can see the draft playing out like this and it has us taking MDC.

Wouldn't mind giving him a shot at all, especially since we'll hopefully be seeing a younger lineup starting next season.

So much for Miller being the missing piece in STL.

I think someone mentioned that Miller's always been used to getting a lot of work - ie. lots of shot on net, whereas St. Louis tends to keep the shots-against at the lower end of the spectrum. As such, that may have been a bit of a factor; however, he certainly looked average at best, either way
