Botchford saying hes heard rumors that Kesler losing A off his jersey was voted for by team.

Anyone else hear this?

They should trade Kesler to the east coast so he can be closer to Schneider's wife.

That's an expensive second line.

Toews.

I never thought I would have said this a few years back but this Blackhawks team is exactly the type of team I wish we had. Skilled but tough, mentally resilient, clutch. And both their coach and upper management know what's what. They deserve the success they've been getting.

but true. It's also amazing how deep their 3rd and 4th lines are.

I just hope the Fillipina entourage doesn't find out about your www.octogenarianhotties.com membership

Edit: holy @#$@# sh*t, that previous/original link which I posted IS an actual website! "dirty hot grannies. com". Christ, there is absolutely no word in the English language which you randomly google, that doesn't come up with some sort of porn/porn related site!

*except for Eklund and Prock (unless googled together

That would be surprising if in fact that's the way the room is run.....

If Linden/Benning are smart they'll trade him to NJ, then sign Schneider next summer.

Yup, it's not just the high picks hey got when they sucked, they actually built a very good team around them with good drafting/development/trading.

Interesting to see what Toews and Kane want. If PK Subban is demanding 8-9 million because of the rising cap, Both of these guys could start contract talks at 8.5 million and go up from there. They literally have ALL of the bargaining power in their corner with their accomplishments.

CBS sports has them signing at 11 million each.

I am going to say between 10.2 and 10.5 million in my opinion

I've always thought Toews has consistently been a Top 10 player in the league. If you then factor in all the intangibles, I would say he's a Top 5. You know that the higher the stakes, the better he plays

Esh that's expensive, wonder if they will be-able to sign both.

Perhaps we can use the Kesler connection to lure Kane this way

You guys watching this ANA-DAL game? (frank)ing Ducks goalie is a bigger flopper than Mike Smith. Basically runs into other players than falls while they get the penalty.

Same could be said for Kane. In fact their entire team seem to pick it up a notch in the playoffs and I imagine it's a case of being led by example. Bickell, Shaw, Saad - all these guys looked more dangerous tonight than any Canuck has for the past 6 months.

3 PPGs eh? The Ducks are overrated. Their goalie depth ("deepest in the league") is overrated. Boudreau is overrated. Ok that last part may have been a stretch given that I've never read anyone's positive thoughts on Boudreau's tactical prowess in the playoffs.

You know that Chicago will never roll over and always seem to find a way to win. And as much as I personally dislike Kane, I agree that he's also one of those guys that come up big when the game is on the line.

Most importantly, though, their core is all quite young. If there is any possibility of a dynasty in today's hockey world, Chicago would certainly have to be part of the conversation.

Kane is one of a handful of guys that sees the game in slow-motion.

I think that's the only way he's managed to survive. When Chicago drafted Kane, I thought, man, this dipsy-doodling/dangling scrawny looking kid is going to be absolutely destroyed (little did we know that he would actually be able to hold his own quite well....at least against cab-drivers ) . I've been amazed at his durability ever since he came into the league; however, as you noted, that is most likely as a result of his ability to think the game at a much higher speed than the average player
