I’m a pineapple-mango addict, myself.. Since in my town they’re only $1.78, I buy them in mass quantities. I also buy the mini vans of Dole pineapple juice in the six-packs, because that’s almost the perfect size to pour through.

First thing I do is pop it open, break up whatever’s in there with a big butter knife, then pour the pineapple juice mini in–and believe it or not–add a good splash of fat free milk. Mine comes to just above the window.

Shake vigorously for about 45 seconds an wowza–that’s my treat for the evening. I’m going to make my own at home, though. Not so much to “save” or “be more thrifty/healthy,” but because whenever I go to WM to get them, they e sold out of my fave flavor. After trying the pineapple mango, the berry ones hold no appeal for me, plus they’re full of tiny seeds at the bottom & this makes me crazy.

Other bloggers have suggested going the ice cube route, but the shakeability of an ice cube is not likely, because of the size of a whole cube. What’s actually in the container from Dole are approx 2cm pieces of frozen puréed fruit (much like dippin dots ice cream).

So what I’ll be doing when I have a few hrs is using a piping bag to squeeze out small dots of puréed fruit and yogurt into a parchment-lined baking sheet and freezing those. When those are done, I’ll put them back into the 20 original cleaned & dried Dole containers I’ve got, and voila`! Smoothies for a month, without being ticked at WM for not keeping things stocked well.

There’s a certain dynamic of people who can afford to go buy all the stuff they want and overload their carts once a month and empty shelves at the store of their choice, and those ppl seem to be drawn to WM like a moth to flame, but we won’t mention those. Might not be politically correct or offensive. Wouldn’t want that.

Ah well, those of us who work for a living will just have to work a little more to get our smoothies, I reckon. Just a thought.

pV = nRT
where

p is pressure
V is volume
n is the number of moles
R is the universal gas constant
T is temperature (K)
where the proportionality constant, now named R, is the universal gas constant with a value of 0.08206 (atm∙L)/(mol∙K). An equivalent formulation of this Law is:

Higher altitude = lower pressure. if pressure goes down, temperature on the right side of the equation must go down to compensate

except I jumbled everything in my head and picked higher instead of lower and I knew it was lower

Also got the vaccine inventor wrong - it was 50/50 between Curie and Salk - I had no idea who either was
