Even if he were available, I could see Edmonton pass on Ekblad to draft Bennet or Draisaitl.

Arcobello was great and I think it was a bit of a mistake to send him down. Of course he's the quintessential mighty-mouse, with his not quite Herculian physical stature. But from what I saw, he seems to work hard and has some creativity with respect to the offensive side of things. I also recently noted he signed an extension a few weeks ago, and I think it was a good move by the Oil. No, not exactly earth-shaking stuff, but a positive decision by management. Hopefully there will be more of those types of managerial moves going forward (although of course I wouldn't suggest holding your breath nonetheless )

I read it on a survey somewhere that Thursday is the best day to fire people. Something to do with 3 day grievance period. That means Torts will be back on the market on Monday looking for a job and be hire by the end of next week. Hopefully TL read the same report.

It's generally the GM's job to hire/fire the coaching staff. We don't have a GM at the moment, so it'll have to wait.
