Would anybody here consider moving the twins or Edler If they were tradeable & in all honesty with no homering...how much do y'all figure we would get for them?
- I-own_da-Northwest

I don't see Trevor moving the twins and all you can get for Edler is a bag of pucks.

At 163lbs, Ehlers would be one hit away from being "Bruled" out of the league. Virtanen, Dal Colle or Bennett will be the smarter picks.
- I-own_da-Northwest

Ehlers isn't going to be playing in the NHL @ 163lbs.

Yup , or use the 6 th and add a piece to get E. Kane. Lots of discussion about that today on the 1040.

Yeah Edler finally got exposed for what he is this year. As for the twins they'll be on the decline and we need roster spots but I think we're gonna feaster it for 4 years before we start the rebuild anyhow.

I wouldn't be opposed to trading the 6th if we received a legitimate top 6 forward.

Like always we will wait until players have no value and trade them.

Screw the Boston model, we are following the Calgary model.

One of Gillis' biggest mistakes was extending the twins the way he did. Should have offered a two year extension take it or leave it.

A bigger mistake was they said they would sign year to year contracts. God I hate that (frank)er now

I'd be down to trade it for Evander or move up for Bennett depending on cost.

Maybe Aquaman to blame for that deal.

I think grabbing Kane would be a huge mistake! The guy is a douche bag and has "Locker Room Cancer" written all over him!

It sucks that the top 5 looks so solid and the Canucks have the 6th pick.

Do you think he might be a douche so he can get out of that God forsaken city? I am sure he reads the headlines too and realizes that is his ticket out.

He was on the 1040 and snickered when asked if he is coming home to play in Vancouver.

bleacher report on Kesler
After a couple extra months to determine the best course of action, it will be interesting to see if Kesler becomes a top trade target on draft day. Based on his past success, the Canucks should be able to demand a big haul. His production drop could scare teams away from paying that hefty price, though.

He's fast enough, skilled enough, and smart enough to earn a spot if he gains another 10-15 lbs this summer (and that's not far fetched). He'd be my "Jeff Skinner-like" (unexpected immediate impact) candidate for the 2014 draft if I had to pick one.

Well if you plan on giving a top 10 development without trying them out for up to 9 games, you might as well trade down. These days most of the top 15 should be near nhl ready. Top 5 should be able to play at some sort of top 9 role.

The problem I have is that he is a douche when he is in THIS city.
