old man

Was that back when you had to chisel your homework into rocks and they only cancelled school in there was a T-Rex warning in effect?

- jmatchett383

No chisel was necessary, we each had our own parchment and quill

I never got the origin of this, how putting one finger into an unnatural position curved around another figure was supposed to bring good luck.

I think you're a witch.

It's not my fault, my soul got shot out of my body with one really good sneeze. I haven't been the same since.

I don't know where the hell you found that picture, or what exact search term you used, but you made me actually laugh out loud. That is a (frank)ing majestic picture.

Teachers and professors these days are atrocious. Not all of them, but so many are terrible.

It seems like they determine grades before even reading papers.

- PhillySportsGuy

the apathy level used to drive me nuts in college. i dont always have to like a teacher, but if you are passionate and care, ill show you whatever level of respect you show me. but some teachers would assign extremely complex and intricate assignments, and then just meh it. im sorry, but if i write you a 20 page argument, and you had it back to me with just a single pen swipe written on it in return explaining the grade, you can promptly (frank) off.

I know. I completely agree. I would get papers back with just a grade on them.

My dad would take so much time on each paper he graded. He would write so much and make comments if he liked something. He would let students turn papers in early and revise them. He understood the class was meant to be a taught not to weed out the bad students.

In the regular season. He couldn't handle the playoff pressure.

He only struggled that first year and that was the year the team rolled over against Buffalo.

thats the way to be. actually wanting to teach, not just crank out things. the teachers who are willing to put in work to match the students level of care

Those teachers are quickly weeded out for not teaching the standardized material.
