Sounds good - although not quite sure if there is really much time left to set up a proper 'draft' draft (would be hard to figure out a time either tonight or tomorrow to get everyone together for a real 'draft' type of format) so perhaps we should go for either a box-draft or forwarding a list of 20-25 players. Anyone have any ideas? Nucker, I know you were also interested, thoughts?

IMO if they really ant the lottery to be exciting they should have a draw for each of the top 14 picks, starting with the 1, instead of just a lottery for the #1.

P.S. we can use OfficePools which has some different format options

Sorry, Zogg. I slacked off on the PM's. Maybe everyone who's interested could post here and PM their emails or something.

Free but the manager entered the picks manually because we do it at the pub

It would be pretty funny to put names to faces A forum or or such could act as a way ... just go in order, and the picks get entered. Probably much easier to organize a box pool or something that doesn't require a live draft or massive data entry

yah, me thinks there would need to be a fairly large stash of bail-fund reserves!

Thanks for the congrats, SMP (although nice job in winning your cash pool, ya bastid!)

I know Nucker would prefer the 'draft' draft format but I'm not sure if there is enough time to figure out a proper time when people are available by the start of tomorrow's games. So personally I think the box-draft or list of 20-25 players format might be the only way to go at this point.

What are your thoughts?

I believe Vintage set things up using Office-Pools?

Edit - it's $20 to set one up and I can do that (do we want to have some $$ incentive - even something nominal like $10/player? (we could off-set the cost of the pool by adding $1-2 dollars per each poolie

Sounds good, I'll bump this thread a little later - in the meantime, if you know of someone (whether on this board or otherwise) who would like to also participate, feel free to mention if you feel they might be interested.

So playoff pool I'm doing box style. One question though since it's playoffs would you take Crosby or krecji.

Krecji is usually money in the playoffs and the Bruins could go all the way.

On the the other hand Crosby is Crosby. But how far are the pens gonna go?

Haha. I was an observer for a long time. Still mostly am. But I've been a canuck fan for about a dozen or so years.

If these Corsi stats were reliable wouldn't we be in the playoffs?
