I don't agree with 90% of those fans. They have their opinions, but I am pissed someone didn't remove Megna's head from his body.

Little slashes like Simmonds go on all game, if your pointing them out as dirty then majority of the league is "dirty."

- flyers2001

The incident I was talking about was not a little slash...& nice not responding back to ME.

Running a goalie is without question a dirtier play than a slash on the wrist.

But a slash on the wrist can cause injury; especially when the player being slashed is without a glove.

Not sure he even ran him. He was battling with macdonald while crashing the net and ended up pushing macdonald into mason.

I was just generalizing; didn't actually see the play where Mason got injured.

I just can never get over Mac's toughness/little bit of luck that he has averted being seriously hurt, between that Simmonds slashing incident, the Burrows hit (that it wasn't worse than it was), the time he had the toe drag goal against Washington & hurt his ankle & came right back.

Hopefully his nine lives of avoiding serious injury doesn't catch up to him at some point here...there still is the possibility that this shoulder injury IS worse & we don't know it yet.

He's one of the several players this team simply cannot afford to play without.

Hopefully he isn't bluffing and he is ready to go.

As good of a read Paul Stewart's blogs are, that's how bad Brad Marsh's are. At least he admitted he roots against the Rangers, which makes his "no brainer" prediction of the Flyers over the Rangers to take with a grain of salt.

It must killed him to watch the Rangers win the cup in 94. Really happy about that.

I never even bother to read anyone's blogs besides Jan's. Not suggesting everyone on here, aside from Jan, sucks I just could care less about the state of every other NHL team; according to a blogger.

Shocked Doc & Eddie/Pierre aren't getting that game. That game's gotta be the ratings king for the day.

Don't like when they do that... Don't let the home announcers call their own games if it's a national game. F national games... It's gonna be disappointing if we ever get to the cup finals and Sam Rosen isn't calling it but Doc is... F the WORLD!

Second round and beyond the NBC team, in this country, gets all the games.

if the Rangers get to the Cup finals I don't care if Donald Duck is calling the games, I'll be heavily dosed by Xanax 24/7 by that point

Haha, I agree...94 was the last year the home broadcasters got to call it all the way through to the Finals, Sam & JD were never better than that run.

Just ask Sidney Crosby. He broke both of Giroux's wrists in the playoffs 2 years ago on faceoffs. I hated him before. I hate him exponentially more now.

Home announcers haven't done the finals for at least 10 years. And Flyers don't have home announcers in any round this year. And why the hell, if we are so important a series that they HAVE to have it on NBC on Sunday, do they have it on CNBC for games 1 and 3? Please.
