Read certainly panned out for the Flyers. He isn't big. But he has a motor that doesn't quit, speed, and hands. It's certainly a better choice than some giant meathead who has size but no hockey sense. |

Not as bad as the knucklehead who runs the US Airways twitter feed.. - mdw7413
I saw that. I had actually seen that picture before that though. Somebody two weeks ago put that pic up saying that they had found that missing plane. |

Yeah, it'd be nice to get him signed. If only it were my decision. - tangent_man
If they'd lost Thursday, he'd be signed by now. And if Gaudreau had won Thursday and Saturday, he'd be in Boston right now celebrating. They've got plenty of time and there's no reason to hit the panic button at this point. The risk of injury before you sign and then the permanent loss of an NHL paycheck is pretty high if he chooses to go back for senior year. |

Jan the man, great job as per usual. Numbers galore, but I still say Rangers in 7, with every game likely being decided by a goal or maybe 2 with an empty netter. This Easter Sunday Noon start still ticks me off...of course family is doing the 1130 brunch gathering. - B2B76
I would like to thank Billy Joel for ensuring that noon start is in NYC and not in Philadelphia. I'd have been SO pissed. We do the family brunch thing.
Was just offered the regular pair of tix for Thurs or Sun, my choice. But had to turn them down because of work and brunch. I'm sad. |

You think the Rangers could trade his rights at the draft for a pick?

I can't see the negotiating rights to Anton Stralman being worth too much.
I wonder what Diaz would command on the open market, because if the Rangers could get him cheap, I think that would be a good signing.

That sucks, Miller is back up though, right? Guess he would fill in. Hope its nothing, that line has their chemistry back and was playing great. |

nice write up. very close in almost every stat except the one i fear will be the flyers' undoing. 2 more minor penalties a game translates into 14 extra pp's (in a 7 game series)....this will be the difference in the series.
as a partial aside i think this blows because i really don't see the flyers actually committing more penalties than their opponents but they also were first in drawing minors so it may be a push.....
should be a great series |

Too lazy to look it up, is Rinaldo still suspended from that hit last week or did he serve the 4 games already? |
