Edler pls - Jurco_28
Would be a good buy-low target for teams like Detroit or Ottawa IMO. |

Frenchie was talking about him the other day saying of anyone he thinks he could be the biggest bust. Of course just his opinion but he's pretty good with prospects. - Yeti1181
I have a feeling that reference is going to be reserved for Ritchie... |

Depends who is available when they pick. What kinda player would you target as a trade for the pick? - hankthetank
London Knights hosting the memorial cup? |

Meh, if he fell to 6 I'd be screaming at my TV for the Canucks to draft him. Mac T apparently loves him so maybe the Oil grab him. I'd laugh if anyone drafts him over Bennett though. |

Yeah, lets be real here. That pick isn't gonna bring in a proven young player. That's what teams HOPE these raft picks turn into, so what kind of team would actually take that unnecessary risk unless we're talking about the Jets and their problem child in Kane(I'm down for that). - Nucker101
I said we should package the pick, not offer it for Johansson or Granlund straight up. |

Still pissed they wouldn't trade for Turris... Hometown kid with a huge upside. ugh. |

Package to get #1 or #2 pick this year or go after a really good young player. Canucks should trade Kes + Edler before the draft so they have quite the collection to offer up. |

I think Ekblad will be the best of the bunch over the long run. He has the size, skill, hockey IQ, and tenacity. |

Ryan Johansson or Mikael Granlund.
Neither might be available even for a good offer, but it's worth pursuing.
The sooner we get the Sedins on the 2nd line facing 2nd pairing opposition, the better we (and they) will be. Johansson and Granlund have that 1C upside and can already play 2C. - AlexF
So why pay them 14 mil per for the next 4 years? Isn't that the type of money that should go to top line players? |

I'm pissed we didn't trade for Seguin. Players of his caliber almost never become available. |

I love Bennett. My top 3 would be Bennett, Ekblad, Reinhart in that order. |

I didn't pay them. But if I'm offering suggestions I do have to work within the confines of what we have. If the Sharks can afford to have Thornton and Marleau sometimes playing as 2nd liners then we can afford the Sedins. |

Just wait till Boston gets another franchise player then you can get them. |

Good player but if we're loading up a big offer I prefer my suggestions. |

Big difference between Thorton and the twins. I would still call Thorton an elite player that can lead his club to the finals. |

Johansen isn't realistic, he's their franchise player. No team is trading a big, young #1 center unless he demands it. Minny fans still view Vancouver as a rival, so I think their management would want an overpay for Granlund. |

Don't know how i would feel about trading the likes of Horvat, the 6th overall plus ( as i'm sure that's what it would take) for what is arguably a one dimensional player who is a d-bag at that.

It's not jsut Thornton/Marleau/Pavelski though like the Sedins and Kesler. We don't have a Burns up front, or a Couture, or a Hertl. |

After this season??? Dream on!
EDIT: I see your other comments below....fair enough, but no way Columbus would trade Johansen right now unless the return was absurd. |

Is bet 29 other coaches would pick Thorton Marleau over the twins. |
