that said, dal colle or draisatl if someone takes ritchie, nylander, ehlers ahead. Probably won't happen but we will see!

Talking about the lottery is like playing in the Masters the first time. You guys are going up against the Oilers and their years of experience. You have no prayer against the seasoned pro's. Their players have a tradition of throwing big ping pong ball parties. Your only hope would be a Russian superstar. Doubt they go there again!

Good question... The Flames scouts could draft just about anyone. I think they might have Vantel ranked in the top 5. If we wind up with Dal Colle, Draistel or Ehlers, I think we've done well.

It was only after the team was eliminated did I even consider our draft position. I still despise #tanknation as a concept. I do support the idea of a better draft position with the team doing its best to win.... so yes I did cheer for Carolina.
