I just love when the battle level is high when the season is lost. Could not get the Isles to throw a check in Oct or Nov. |

Agreed. And mix in a bunch of kids trying to make a name for themselves and it does make for some entertaining hockey. Not as entertaining as playoff hockey for sure though. |

The problem is to get the "established" players to play when it counts.. You know kids will play hard. To many regulars were too comfortable this year. IE Martin, Bailey, McDonald etc |

I agree Dan. You could see how safe the vets felt. Well, everyone but Garth and Jack saw it. |

It will be sweet to see guys like Nelson, Lee, Strome and maybe Reinhart starting with the team next year. Isles better not sign crappy vets to block any of these kids. If Cappy is brought back, he better be gone with the first 3 game losing streak. |

Another goal for Lee. Bad goal but still counts. Lee can be another Bertuzzi hopefully without the drama. |

Anders Lee now has more goals in 55 less games than bailey. Yet with the way bailey has played since march, garth is gonna say he is getting ready to breakout. Yeah just like he was gonna the last 3-4 seasons .
Side note, Lee is a beast. And like one poster said before about him possibly being another bertuzzi. I hope he does, minus the dirty cheap shot rep he got from that incident in vancouver years ago. |

If Cappy is brought back Snow should be punched in the face after every game until he fires Cappy. |

Agreed. There should be no reason to bring that fred flintstone looking retard back. They shouldn't use injuries as an excuse. The team was out of it before february when they still had tavares, vanek, okposo, and the only big injury at that time was visnovsky. Detroit has had more injuries than any other team, and it was to datsyuk, zetterberg, kronwall, franzen, howard who are their big guns. And they still made the playoffs. Why? Because they have great coaching, depth, and a culture of winning with no excuses. |

Man Lee and Nelson are having me wish for the new season already. This team can be scary good with a couple of the right moves and a new coach. |
