Yeah, he was a Blue collar player in a Blue collar town. He is very much loved among Oilers fans, and to top it off, he's sticking around and raising his kids here.

Don't see them moving Ennis the only guy who can both stay healthy and score on this team. Not sure they will move the Hoff either until their sure they have a Dman who could be his replacement.

I'm struggling to see where Ennis will fit in long term
Right now, Girgensons projects to be the "defensive" center
And we are presumably drafting Reinhart/Bennett this year, and then McDavid/Eichel the year after
So unless Ennis is going back to the wing,
He might as well be trade bait

With goalies, it's so tough to tell who will work out and who won't
With most, it's about 5yrs (at least) before u really get a good idea
I think that's why teams have basically stopped drafting them high
Even the top ones rarely get picked before the late 1st round now

We had just gotten Regehr to waive his ntc to come here from Calgary
His rights were traded to NYI, and he refused to sign there so his rights were traded here
