It'll be interesting to see how the Rags do in the playoffs.

Some one suggested kadri would be marketable to the demographic in the lower mainland. Exactly how do you figure that to be the case? |

He was successful before that group gained real maturity too. He won the Jack Adams in 07. He took a team that had just missed the playoffs, broke the franchise wins record And won a round in the playoffs in his first year.
Either way, many coaches have failed with good squads.
I'm not one to really use the talent level as a strike against.
His success speaks for itself.
Even the game 7 loss is a coin toss imo. He wins that game. He doesn't get let go |

Seems Flames fans are stoked to have newly signed Gaudreau and Arnold in the line up against you guys Sunday. Give em a good beating in their debut |

I will give you a hint, he already requested the NHL to replace his helmet to a turban. |

Makes no sense, the larger population in the lower mainland is Indian(Punjabi or Hindu). Kadri I believe comes from a Muslim family, if anything that would be a bad thing as those groups don't exactly get along. |

Coaches message do sometimes get stale over time tho.
I just dont generally think that's a poor reflection on them per se |

From a hockey trade would Kadri be a good fit? I know there has been talk Bieksa to the Leafs but I don't think Kadri is enough. Fransen would need to be thrown in for the right handed shot.
The other question is where would Kadri slot in? |

Losing would be fine, just want to see a different look lineup with many vets scratched and some minutes given to Dalpe, Schroeder, and whoever they can call up from Utica. How about Grenier? Or Tomerness?
These last few games shouldn't be about wins and losses but evaluating talent.
Although losses wouldn't hurt and wins are meaningless. |

With him not being eligible to play in Utica this season... why not give him a game or two look to see what he can do? What is the worst that can happen, he could lose the puck at the blue line leading to a Calgary goal and thus being shunned on the bench...
I don't like the idea of tanking, but could handle the losses if they accomplished something. Really don't see the need of dressing our top players especially if they aren't 100%.
Would enjoy the wins if it showed some others stepping up and providing offense. I am not sure if the vets all have their hearts in it, so dress some youth who want to make an impression. Put Kassian on the top line. or at least 2nd line minutes. |

That's because he's a SYSTEM coach (as I stated) whose success doesn't rely upon chemistry or talent. It's about buying into a scheme. That's why he was obsessed with having "yes men" as his "leaders" and doesn't bother talking to the players or making adjustments in game.
He won the Jack Adams by default. Inherited a young, relatively cheap (cap space) playoff calibre team (in a WEAK division) that didn't make the playoffs and had just added Roberto Luongo in his prime. |

I just keep thinking about Dalpe and Schroeder. Dalpe was projected to play with E.Stall before he was injured at the start of the season with Carolina and Schroeder has had his injuries and not had a good opportunity to prove himself.
The organization should know what they have in their core, that hasn't been getting it done, why not look into what else is in the cupboard?
Maybe they don't want to tank the season or be perceived as trying to tank, but these games should be more important to assess talent than rookie camp, young starts tourney or exhibition games at the start of the season. |

I don't see you getting kadri + for bieska. Kadri may be inconsistent but he's very young. I'd expect the Canucks to have to give up a pick with Bieska.

Lower mainland has a very large Iranian demographic(mainly on the North Shore) actually and I believe that to be his decent.
Hindus and Sikhs dont attack Muslims really. In Pakistan, the Islamo Facist terrorists attack the Hindus and Sikhs but thats a whole different animal. |

schroeder reminds me of jeff tambilini. should have had enough talent to make an impact, always seemed to be on the outside and not willing to pay the price, and eventually he ran out of opportunities.
