A 3rd liner grinder. Hes RW so that helps, but after 1st round I think D is next if the picks are looking like grinders.

1st round C/RW pick (unless Ekblad drops to us), 2nd-4th round D, of course best player at time of draft is the rule but would be good if they focussed on things like that I think.

For the first second rounder (35th overall) I would start looking at the defensemen ranked around there (unless they score Ekblad). Look to Ryan MacInnis (assuming he gets past St. Louis), Brycen Martin, Roland McKeown, or Jack Dougherty.

Something about a MacInnis back in a Flames jersey has a real nice touch to it. Even let him wear his dad's number.
