Thing is though, it's not like your asking people to change their allegiance from GM to Ford. You are talking about breaking up a country like Canada, that with all its flaws, is still a pretty (frank)ing great place to live IMO. The world has changed since the 70's and 80's. Quebec is better off within Canada and vice versa as well.

PKP has star power but really, is he known for his "team first" approach? I don't see him being able to play nice. I guess it will be on the party to define what they want to be going forward.

Meh, most of the analysis I've read said that if it was elected, PQ was doomed because you'd have non-referendum people on one side and referendum-now-reaching-their-limit on the other.
