just imagine you had greening, phillips, and neil on your team........ they make fans seek out therapy. - sensarmy_11
Doesn't it drive you crazy watching the entire league skate around Karlsson all year and score?
96 goals against, not counting PK time, number 1 in the entire league by a good margin. Next highest I believe is 81.
Edit - sorry, 85, Yandle. |

 don't ever change prock.
your obsession with the sens is a good daily dose of comedy. it's the only thing you EVER post about.....you could be in a predators/canucks thread, and you'd be writing about ryan and karlsson.
at first it was annoying, then it was just sad..........but now it's funny. keep it up......i'm starting to think that you're actually a closet sens fan. |

Actually it was an eklund blog on the topic of you guys trying to sell off your aging injury prone Centre, and a couple zof idiots chiming in with proposals that the leafs sell the farm for him, followed by your comments on phaneuf being overpaid.
Wouldn't that make you the obsessive idiot? Its okay though, I can understand why being the insignificant little Ontario sister would bother you.

Your sounding a little paranoid again. Calm down, get a grip. Don't say things that you will regret. There is no need to try and offend everyone. You might find it helpful to give yourself a 1/2 hour time out. |

i'm not talking about this blog, i'm talking about ALL THE TIME. when was the last post you had that didn't talk about the sens, or one of their players. probably a long ass time ago. i would venture that AT LEAST 90% of your posts are about ottawa.
it's okay, you can admit, you're a closet fan.

If we still had a gaping hole down the middle on line 1, I'd be all for it. However, with Bozak, having a solid year 7 mil would be a bit much for a #2 center. not to mention the cost would be Kadri ++ - GardinerExpress
Bozak is not a number one centre. |

I entirely agree. Unfortunately, he does believe that he has an important mandate to deflect attention away from the fact that the Leafs are missing the playoffs for the 9th time in the last ten years.so, he postures bold statements about other teams. It deflects attention away from the Leafs. I suppose there is some merit in what he does. |

You have to admit... the Spezza to the Leafs idea is pretty dumb. First of all, Ottawa is not trading Spezza to the Leafs. Second, at least one trade proposal here sounds an awful lot like the Luongo debate all over again. Granted, it came from one of the more constant trolls in your fanbase.
There is no way that the Leafs are giving up some package of good young assets and high picks for an injury prone guy whose best years are behind him and, let's face it, isn't exactly a defensively responsible player or a leader.
We already have a whole team with those flaws |

... and why the hell would Ottawa ever trade Spezza to Toronto (barring a ridiculous over-payment).
This makes zero sense. |

They wrapped up Kessel for five years at the time. Ryan will be gone after two years. He's also nowhere near as good. Not even in the same ball park. Kessel outscores him by almost30 points a year. And that's counting years Ryan played with getzlaf and Perry. - prock
It's not a foregone conclusion that he signs elsewhere. Also, the Leads ended up paying a steeper price IMO. Seguin(2nd overall) and Hamilton(9th overall) is a higher price to me. |

I would hope they paid a higher price for a player that is miles and miles better. Almost 30 points a year is a massive difference. An elite offensive player vs a second tier one. And I'd say its a safe bet Bobby Ryan is gone. There is no reason to stay. |

Well then as mentioned, since bozak is better than Turris, and Sens fans call Turris their number one Centre, it only follows Spezza isn't either. |

Yup! If you're giving up a bunch of assets it would logically be for a defenceman. |

Tyler Seguin is currently outscoring Phil Kessel, so yes, definitely a higher price... Who, pray tell, of the players Ottawa traded will be outscoring Bobby Ryan in the near future? |
