I was actually pretty impressed with Ghosts defense when I watched his last few games. And his goaltending!

He'll have his hands full against Gaudreau

I watched a Union - B.C. game last year. It was so evident that they were in a different stratosphere than everyone else.

Alt may never be a top-4, but I feel he could challenge for a bottom-pair spot (or first call-up) next year. I only saw him once, but I liked what I saw.

I like that most of the prospects project as two-way players. They may have their specialties, but they aren't one-dimensional prospects.

If a guy can contribute at the NHL level and not be overmatched, or be a liability I view them as a valuable asset. If Alt can play a competent 15-16 minutes a game at the NHL level, that would be great by me.

This is how I imagine JJ's on-ice leadership must be like (NSFW language):

Ironically, they're both nicknamed "Captain America"

Maybe for the Finals. I wanna see if prices drop the day of the game. I really wish I could swing the Thursday game. If they did single game sales for the semifinals, I may have.

Morin better be more then a 6-7 guy.
- MJL

You expect him to grow some and be a 6-9 guy like Chara?

If Downie doesn't play tomorrow he's back in healthy scratch mode.

You didn't click the right link. Panaccio writing another story about how the team is holding Timonen out of games in order to keep his offseason trade value. They plan on moving him + Laughton for Weber.

I think he'll play as soon as he's healthy. McGinn was better last night, but Downie is still the better player IMO

I thought McGinn would be better than he has in his latest call up. Still no idea why the Flyers are adverse to playing him on the 4th line. I think that's what he is at the NHL level.

Downie has been a disappointment this stint with the Flyers. He hasn't been healthy which is a key factor, but health shouldn't effect him being completely undisciplined.

This might seem kind of insane to suggest, but I'm kind of curious to see how Rinaldo would fare with Schenn and Simmer.

Rinaldo definitely has the wheels to play in the top 9. Not sure what kind of hands he has.

I would much rather see Raffl at LW. Nice little bit of speed and two-way play to go along with those bruisers.

I wish we could get the January Downie back... he was dominant with Cooter and Read and since then he hasn't had the jump..

I think the funniest part is when people blame Coburn. The guy is having a very strong season. He makes his mistakes, but his overall play has been critical to the team's success.

Yeah.. there's a reason that Edmonton kept hounding the Flyers to get him. He's a solid dman IMO. I love seeing him on the ice in 4 on 4 OT with all that room.. there's been a couple of times, he has roamed all over the ice.. created chances at one end, speed to get back on D.
