Hartnell on Chara was pretty good too. - Marc D
I think the Flyers had 22 hits after the 1st period... Big bad bruins
This team is capable of beating anybody in a series, of course they're also capable of completely poopting the bed, but i fear no team in the east. More often than not when you take 50 shots, you end up winning and if it wasn't for the shootout i think this team does.
I can't wait for the playoffs man! |

Nobody said it'd be easy.
Playoff hockey is a different animal, if this was the NBA then i'd be worried about home ice advantage. That streak is begging to be broken in spectacular fashion |

As with many things, the first challenge will likely prove the hardest. If the rankings stay the same, and the Flyers get through the Rangers, anything can happen. |

It is hard to fathom. It seems like yesterday Sielski was complaining about the Flyers culture. |

Willie Huber's been dead for four years and he's still on the Flyers list somewhere. |

Torts will likely be out of a job again soon. I think his coaching style has worn thin with players. Although I guess he can't be blamed for the entire cluster(frank) in Vancouver.
A series with the Rags will be (frank)ing epic. |

he's dead? i didn't know that. - hammarby31
Yeah, heart attack...Only 52.
He came in at a dealine and had a really good run at the end of the year, scored at a PPG pace or better for the last 10-15 games of the season, and the Flyers wouldn't give him a raise or something and I remember talk of him malingering a minor injury...he held out for a year or so and then retired |

Torts hastened the collapse in Vancouver. It was gonna crumble, but they could have been decent for another year or two |

It is. And I don't disagree with anyone that says let it ride because it's working. I just think he can boost that 2nd line for the playoffs. - MJL
I'd swap schenn and vinnie right now. If a vet like Vin can play on the 4th line...schenn can too. He could be a he'll of a fourth line pia ... |

And how many of the fans bought into that. And there was plenty of talk about the team headed in the wrong direction, and of firing the GM. And on and on.
