Yes can we please not Toronto-isize the goaltending of Emery. Yes. He let in a soft goal. He's not the problem in this game.

When they had the 5 on 3, I posted. Kings scored right after.

I changed the message to "......", because its all I felt. I've failed us.

I'm not ready to throw in the towel yet, but trying to come back when entering the 3rd down 2 to the Kings is gonna be a royal female dog!
- BiggE

should be interesting to see if the Kings continue their aggressive forecheck in the 3rd, or let up just a notch.

if they let up it might be enough of an opening for the Flyers to get one ... and then anything can happen from there.

That is brutal missing a wide open net like that. Let's hope Lecavalier gets better with age like Jagr. Jagr's season with the Devils blows his season with the Flyers out of the water.
- PLindbergh31

Do you see how the puck fluttered going towards the net? And how it wasn't shot that hard? That's a clear indication that the puck was on edge, and he didn't get good wood on it. It's a bad break and it happens in Hockey. He scores there 9 out of 10 times. It's the breaks of the game. Who cares what Jagr's Season is.

the more I see this the more I think the 2nd deflection is off of the front of the net cam. (edit: maybe I'm just grasping. lol)

I'm a fan, but I'm also a realist -- it's gonna be difficult. We're going to need to catch one of their d-men napping, probably Willie Mitchell or Alec Martinez, and make a set of good plays off a zone entry.

No point in letting up. Its not like the Flyers are generating much as is

Well, going to really need a great effort here in the third to pull this one out

Exactly -- we might need a little help for the first one. Just a little break.

Only you would defend a shot like that.

It blows, accept it and move on.

yeah, but sometimes the subconscious takes over ... there might be a few situations where LA was forcing the issue in the 1st two periods, where they'll back off just a bit in the 3rd.

at least, that's what I'm basing my hope on ...

That is a mis-characterization of my post. I did not defend anything. I simply pointed out the details of the play, and what happened. I have no problem with that. It's just bad luck. And it's part of the game.

Jagr's performance this season is obliterating the sorry remains of lecavlier's game. Shell of him former self. Holmgren laughed out of the building again

Haha LOL eggs and bacon on his face again who's HUNGRY?
