He pronounced it at least 4 different ways today. - ThirdEye
Astonishing that he has any job let alone a high profile position with a television broadcasting company. |

Yeah it hasn't been lost on me that we have been largely on the same page for most of this season in terms of being patient with slumping players (Grossmann, Streit etc.) and the team needing more confidence and just time to develop and learn what it takes to win than anything else... I've said this before, when you and I agree on things, most of the time, those things turn out to be right. - exlund
While were all patting each other on the back. Aren't you guys just so damn happy Briere isn't on this team! Yeah, I was first to help pack his bags |

Imagine if Nash was from Russia.
Not so much the golden boy, but enigma. - flyer_nutter
I would agree Nash really has gotten the benefit of the doubt throughout his career. I believe Sather gave up too much of his grit by jettisoning Dubinsky, Callahan and Anisimov. The Flyers match up much better with the Rangers this year, then in years past.

Coach's Corner highlights:
1. Dump ins. (like the play that resulted in a TO goal)
2. Reimer. Carlyle/little rat reporters. His confidence is completely gone. 2 number one goalies.
3. Paul Ranger. It's not Ranger's fault it's not Killorn's fault. What?
4. Kyle Quincey. Sliding stick block on a Malkin open net. Is the play that will push the Wings into the playoffs.
5. Top prospects/drafts. Connor McDavid.
6. OHL Cup. Crazy that's it not a bigger deal than it is?
7. Wow and Cherry cheers as a young woman fan who gets hammered on the inside part of the glass from a body check!

I'm not. I don't sell players out. Briere was a great player here, and I celebrate his time here. And I'm grateful for it, just as I'm grateful that players such as Coburn are still here. When how many wanted him gone in the past.

Haven't really thought much about him lately...his was a timely acquisition and he proved to be an asset to the team during the first few years of his contract. The elevation of his game at playoff time was exceptional, adding more to his overall value. His injuries and inconsistent play as time went on definitely detracted from his worth and he became less of a key cog in the wheel and thus stuck out as overpaid...but I always respected the guy and still do...but yeah, he needed to go, and with the money he's making between the buyout and the new contract, I'm sure not feeling sorry for him. |

They need to be panicking now...their GPs and ROWs have them wide-open right now to fall out

You think he'll be with the Sabers next year?
Continue to be impressed by Ho Sang? 1 assist, 3 minor penalties and a -2 |

A very good shot unless they prefer he spend sometime in the AHL.
No I am not impressed by Ho Sang, mainly because he spends too much time trying to be a hot shot & do a lot himself.
The one penalty was a joke, he put the puck into the empty net after the whistle which is rarely called at any level as a penalty. |

Kind of a Richard move though. I saw it was for unsportsmanlike conduct I assumed it was from complaining. |
