Innnteresting, I always thought Tino had kind of a stiff swing. I thought Mattingly had a much more beautiful swing.
- MBFlyerfan

I may be a bit biased towards him, but I've heard a lot of people say he had a fantastic natural power swing. I always loved watching him hit.

I live with a wife, which kinda kills optimism, at least in the "sexual intercourse" department.

How can they start to build again when they are tied into the money they are with Howard, Utley, and Rollins. The worst position you can be in with a team is to have a mediocre team with a high payroll.
That World Series team was built on the nucleus of drafted players. And then a hall of fame GM in Gillick made the final key moves. Who do they have down in the farm that is the future. How good is Asche going to be? Can D Brown get better?

- MJL

They can spend more money on signing draft picks away from colleges and being more aggressive in international free agency.

They could always try playing crazy dance music while the other team's pitching. Might throw them off a bit.

Yeah. My grandparents used to go down to spring training every year, and they met up with this couple who watched my dad & aunt while my grandparents were at the games. That couple ended up being his grandparents, and the families kept in touch. He got my dad, mom, cousin, my grandparents, and me free tix to a Seattle series when Camden Yards first opened, and I probably have, by far, the largest Tino Martinez card collection in the world.

I think skill has a little something to do with it as well. In fact, I'll take skill over attitude.

A Zherdev jersey? As in singular? Oh no sir, you are WAAAAY off. Not only do I have a wardobe full of Zherdev jerseys, I also have Zherdev underpants and a custom-knit Zherdev bedding set.
