Everyone loves to talk poop bout the Canucks but you guys still have nice pieces, Sedins are still good players and having a Off year, Edler, Kesler, Bieksa Haminus and so on.. Your management is in a tough position though in regards of which direction they take and people are going to be pissed either way. It will be interesting to follow from a non hating leafs fans perspective.

Everyone loves to talk poop bout the Canucks but you guys still have nice pieces, Sedins are still good players and having a Off year, Edler, Kesler, Bieksa Haminus and so on.. Your management is in a tough position though in regards of which direction they take and people are going to be pissed either way. Ya exactly ... I don't see this continuing , it's just one of those weird years with injuries and poor performance.. It'll be interesting to see what change it brings and of we can land a solid young player or 2 in the draft to help as they get older

I agree with many people here this was a fluke season I don't mind keeping Kesler, but edler needs to go and we need to sign a top D and top 6 forward next year and resign santo and we could have a top team again. Also bring back aaron rome

You won't get much for Hansen .He has speed and is cheap and useful. Use him as a third liner and I think he is a good fit. Higgins would fetch more.

We lack elite talent to compete at the top (or even score to be honest) and our own elite talent is fading. This team is on the decline and no longer a contender, of that I have no doubt.

Are we better than what we've seen in 2014? Fo sho. But if we role out the same team we next season I see us battling for the final playoff spots once again.

A player with Schroeder's skillset playing with plug linemates under AV & Torts' systems? Hmmm, I wonder why he's never broken out offensively... Matthias comes here & gets plugged into the 1st PP unit (in an attempt to get him some easy points & make that trade look better than it was)... Thats the kind of opportunity a player like Schroeder needs/would thrive in, but won't get in this organization because we have NO CLUE how to maximize the talent on the roster.

I really like it.

Don't get me wrong, I believe we have good depth. The issue is that our depth constantly gets placed in our top6 because we lack a number of true top6ers. You know, like, the ones that put up points. And this was the case way before injuries.

We need a playmaker and a sniper added to our top 6 (without losing Kesler) if we want to harbor any illusion of making a playoff run.
