I love the promise of the draft and having kids in our system, but realistically at this point we need a builder to make some beneficial trades for a young NHL player. Some core players like Kesler need to leave this team.

We're on the same page. I'd extend that to include any of the kids we drafted last year as well.

Only trade offers up the possibility to get NHL-ready players that can make an impact next year. I don't like MG's trade record and don't think he'll get it done but if we get a new GM then anything is possible I suppose.
