Yup, Eddie should be a 20 - 30 game a year guy for 2 years, just as Schneider was.

Sign Thomas in the off season. Haha

They just fired 1,000 food service employees. Sign of the times, attendance is down.

Can't blame them for ditching Aramark and doing it on their own. Hopefully this means better service and better beer selection.

(frank)ing unions.

Lack has been fragile since being named #1 after Luongo got traded. Even his great performance the other night was clouded by a goal from center ice.

This organization was proud of how they developed Schneider slowly but surely in the NHL but did the complete opposite with Lack. People should be concerned about how this will effects Lack's development from the trade forward. They just heaped a ton of pressure on him.

Yes, they could (frank) this up as well.

- boonerbuck

Lack hasn't been the same since the Heritage game. Torts screwed up two goalies with that dumb move. He embarrassed Luongo and put Eddie on the spot to get attacked by stupid fans and media. Torts is always talking about knowing how to push different players' buttons to get results. It appears he doesn't know a single thing about human nature and how to effectively motivate.

Time for JT to go, he's lost the team. There's obviously a disconnect with JT/Sullivan & Glen Gulutzan, they were most certainly two different hires there. IMO GMMG hired Gulutzan and the Aquilini's hired JT.

Amazing how important, in hindsight, Santorelli was to this team. Looking forward to the breakdown of the team and subsequent influx of youth.

Extremely dysfunctional organization right now, the only two examples I can think of is the present NYI, Sabres and recent past Maple Leafs.

- LeftCoaster

Time for the fans to divorce Aquilini, only a complete dlck cancels a contract that effects 1000 people just to make higher profits off concessions. I am so glad I have never gone to a game under his ownership and I never will.

Very true. Expectations are not high anymore this season. Start the housecleaning now, from top down.

I don't trust Torts to coach this team. I don't trust Gillis to rebuild and I don't trust Aquillini to conduct a proper housecleaning.

I have trust issues.

Can't believe this. Or maybe I can. On the day that the Canucks hopeful were hoping to see one or both of Torts and Gillis fired, they fire 1000 of the minimum wage concession workers instead.

They should fire the team's entire PR group while they're at it. It appears they may have already done so.

- AlexF

Tone deaf management is right. Company has a right to change how they deal with concessions and hopefully most of these folks get their jobs back and the same pay, but the timing with everything else is going to turn off even more people. Aquilini is on his way to becoming disliked in his home town. He can't get fired like the others, but at this moment he looks greedy and incompetent which isn't good for business.

I hear their contracting it out to Foreign Temporary Workers (FTW) , is that better , non-union and making 8 bucks an hour. Maybe they should be looking for FTW'S to play for the Nucks as well.

A team like Colorado has been the poops since 2009, thru the draft and some trades they are now in a position to be the of the better teams in the league, this can be done.

And unlike Aquilini's ex-wife and getting scr'wed by this guy, these workers won't get a million dollar settlement from this divorce.

We'd need a few lottery picks before being a valid comparable. We likely won't get any higher than 8 or 9 in this draft.

we blew up our management and coaching staff this summer. Only Tim Army was retained as a coach and he joined the organization during the lock out season.

New Head, Associate, Video, Defence, Goalie coaches as well as Roy and Sakic taking over operations and Kroeke's son taking over as president. Massive overhaul and its panning out

I bet we aren't willing to offer the kind of term and $$ they'll be looking for.
