he just doesn't understand NHL players today. The game and its players have evolved so much since his college and minor league playing days and he just hasn't changed with the game.

I remember Sean Avery saying that playing for Torts was worst thing for his career but the best thing for his life.

His style sucks and his poor people skills and aggressive attitude don't make up for that. That's why a guy like Therrein will always get fired over a guy like Bylsma if they are in the same situation, one has no people skills and many don't like him, the other has a ton of charm and is very well liked.

Agreed his tirades at the end of games were hilarious for non ranger fans to watch... Still remember last year when Orpik had an accidental knee on knee with stepan he called Crosby and Malkin "whinny stars" and the pittsburgh organization "one of the most arrogant organizations in the league" , even if it's true, which I don't believe, it should not be coming out of the head coaches mouth... Surprised that three ring circus called the New York rangers actually fired him. i think it had more to do with the fact we traded them MP at the start of the season for 4th. I think ANA came to McPhee first, and didn't push as hard for a higher pick since we already dealt with eachother.

To make room for Wilson on the roster..because he traded for Erat at the deadline prior and had to fit his 4.5 cap hit in for no reason. Erat pushed us over the cap, so we traded MP to make room for Wilson.

The whole situation was a huge cluster(frank). Funny thing is, our center depth is horrible..yet we go out and acquire another winger.
