probably, but i was saying if he does move, the pens have a recent record of getting the big name they want at the deadline. - hammarby31
He'd be a good fit for them. Give them that 1-2-3 they had when Staal was there (Kesler better than Staal). Pens really need forward depth and a big body. Kesler would fill both those needs. The only problem is that his acquisition would cost a lot and give them very little cap space this offseason. |

I could see Kelser and Edler getting reunited with Vigneault... Rangers certainly have the right pieces to get it done.... I'm sure Torts would love to get some of his old favorite guys back under him too. |

I still think it's stupid that players over 35 when they signed, count on the cap regardless of their health.
If teams were circumventing the cap... Why approve the ducking contract? |

Dmitry Orlov will be suspended 2 games for his hit on Brayden Schenn yesterday, I am told. |

Its a combination of both I bet. Kesler seems like one of those classic "too good to pass up" guys. Like Vinny |

Kesler hates AV, from what a couple Vancouver scribes said. |

Remember last year, when the Flyers were so close to getting Ryane Clowe? They may just be trying to drive the price up for Kesler |

That actually makes a ton of sense. I bet Callahan could be a huge piece in that deal. |

There were rumors this morning that Callahan had agreed to a 6yr $6M AAV with the Rags |

I saw he had come down on his number but still not the 6M per Rags will pay |

From what McKenzie said, Callahan dropped his original demands from 7 years/$7mm to 6 years/$6.5mm, still not enough |

NBCS has Buffalo on again tonight? WTF? I know their schedule is made before the season starts, but why can't they pull out of meaningless games? |

Mr. Bill,
Do you see Larsen as a good fit for the Flyers? Would you put in a claim?
