their losses are not just on him, and no it won't be sad. it will be next to the greatest thing, which would have been them winning zero cups.
- hammarby31

I know. I love seeing them choke.

It's difficult to win a cup with average goaltending. Fleury has been below average.

So I should just shut up and take it? Why do I have to stop but others don't?

I get it, I'm the bad guy cause you disagree with me. Typical.

No more leafs! I'd rather a more established player like erhoff or edler

Gardiner for L Schenn...this defenseman is broken can I exchange it for that one

Our resident Pens' fan said he wasnt sure if he'd rather have MAF or Mason to start in the playoffs. That's not a knock on Mason, but it sure is for the Pens' "franchise" goalie.
- jmatchett383

Im actually pretty happy with Mason. Its not an easy market, and we have heard no drama from him as of yet.

I'll take an average goalie with the ability to get on hot streaks to carry a team any day. The puck-handling is a wonderful bonus.

Where do I sign....also think Moulson is a better overall skater #Hartnelldown

Well I'm sure for a 1st round pick and one of our top-9 players not named Steve Downie, we can have him in town for the Caps' game.

if by stop battling you mean gliding around aimlessly, out of position, no sticks on the ice and letting the opposition enter the area without so much as looking at them, then yes, i agree.
- hammarby31

Ovechkin could play defense for us!

If I am the Leafs, I would rather keep Gardiner than I do Carlyle. Has a bit of a dinosaur vibe about him.
- flyer_nutter

I'd shell out good $ to watch him try to make sense of an iPhone... "You guys did this on purpose... where's that rotary dial?"

...well, in the playoffs, anyway.

I really don't think the East has a chance at the Cup, barring a miracle Cinderella run.

It's gonna be the Blues.

He'd have sick chemistry w/ G, but I shudder to imagine the kind of contract it would take to retain him. He's already 30... I'd be staying away.
- Tomahawk

Yea. I like him but I'm not sure he's worth paying all that money. Id rather take a shot at MacDonald or Niskanen even though they're higher risks.

Mason has been amazing to me. Really have fallen in love with him. I fully expect him to be traded because of it.

I see the Bruins as the clear-cut favorite, going against one of Philly/Pitt/NYR in the ECF because it's fairly wide open. But when it comes to LA/Anaheim/St. Louis/Chicago, I can't see the SCF going longer than 6 games.

I think the Bruins and Pens can beat any team in the west. The road to the cup from the west will be daunting. The West champion could end up playing multiple 6-7 game series in a row.

This refrain has been chanted here a few times, but I'll repeat it.

If Homer was adamant against trading Coots and/or Schenn in a deal for Weber, I think they'll be Flyers for a very long time.

I'd like to see St. Louis myself. I have always liked Backes, and Miller has been a good soldier on a poop team for a long time. I hope they take it, but any team coming out of the West will be beat up.

No, they're not on him solely. But he's been part of the problem the last 4 playoffs, not part of the solution. When your goalie gives up incredibly soft goals over and over, it makes the rest of the team tentative, which is why he was benched for their backup for the bulk of the playoffs.
- jmatchett383

he was lousy. bylsma had no other option.
