Yeah but see you keep it going.

If you just stop after 2 pages instead of 11 and don't try to belittle others or their views, you won't be b&

So I should just shut up and take it? Why do I have to stop but others don't?

I get it, I'm the bad guy cause you disagree with me. Typical.

i think that would also be a tall task. MAF was a huge reason why they were able to win...and i don't think he's going to suck in this year's playoffs. just a hunch.
- hammarby31

He's having a good season. His real season starts when the playoffs begin.

It would be sad for the Pens if they end up winning one Cup with Malkin and Crosby because they can't get their playoff goaltending figured out.

Well, given how big he is, it takes a little longer for the oil to run throughout the entire system. Especially with the cold weather.

That's what I was thinking. Also, I assume he runs on diesel fuel and his heating coil is on the fritz.

Our resident Pens' fan said he wasnt sure if he'd rather have MAF or Mason to start in the playoffs. That's not a knock on Mason, but it sure is for the Pens' "franchise" goalie.

Kypreos said that he doesn't think Jake Gardiner will be a Leaf for long, might not be in next two days, but he said that he's not a fit with Carlyle as coach

their losses are not just on him, and no it won't be sad. it will be next to the greatest thing, which would have been them winning zero cups.

Much smaller. Very good complimentary piece for a top line. He won't mix it up like Hartnell, but he won't take bad penalties.

No, they're not on him solely. But he's been part of the problem the last 4 playoffs, not part of the solution. When your goalie gives up incredibly soft goals over and over, it makes the rest of the team tentative, which is why he was benched for their backup for the bulk of the playoffs.

If I am the Leafs, I would rather keep Gardiner than I do Carlyle. Has a bit of a dinosaur vibe about him.

He'd have sick chemistry w/ G, but I shudder to imagine the kind of contract it would take to retain him. He's already 30... I'd be staying away.

I know. If he falls apart again or just doesn't play well, they need to think about moving on. They can't waste these glory years with inferior playoff goaltending.

So would I. That said, I don't want to acquire any of them given the likely price.
