We'll see. I strongly believe that Maatta is an untouchable for Pit. They'd probably offer Sutter, Pouliot and a pick(1st or 2nd?) as their best offer. We'll see if Gillis bites.

I strongly believe the market for Kesler will be stronger then that

The Canucks goal is to trade Ryan Kesler next week but not for cheap. If the right offer doesn't come, he'll finish the season in Vancouver.

No reason to post that Michael. That's just common sense.

I hope so. This trade will say a lot about Gillis to me. Schneider was harder to move, he's a goalie and only so many team need one. Almost everyone always wants a top 6 center though, especially one like Kesler.

This is why Philly is so appealing. They have the assets the Canucks would need in return.

Same here actually. I would love to deal Kesler to Philly for him+.

Same, teams covet the game Kesler brings. Everyone is well aware of what he brings and teams will over pay. We are in no rush to move him and thus dealing from strength.

For the life of me I have no idea why people think that wasn't a great trade. A largely unproven #1 goalie for a guy that would be a top 5 pick in the average draft. Sometimes I laugh at the statue people built for Schnieder
