If I have a complaint about chief is some times he plays an ineffective Hartnell far to often....he's terrible today......Raffl is flying.....his speed opens up ice for Giroux and Vorecek ....and boy does Luke Schenn struggle against speed...wow.

After the two first period penalties I was a little surprised that Hartnell was right back out there.

He is trying but has been very ineffective so far, poor decisions with the puck

He obviously isn't the only one doing that, but Hartsy has had a tough afternoon so far

They've spent far to much time in their own end.

The forwards have made some poor decisions deciding to pass back to the defense behind the goal line as opposed to chipping out along the wall. They have to make better decisions.

Seems like Richards' career has topped out offensively. A far cry from his days with the Flyers.

Difference between Lavi/Stevens and Sutter could probably account for most of that... Carter's production is down relatively as well.

To the original question, though... my favorite current Flyer is 17, but I'd still take Richards... at least you know you could always trade him for Simmer if it came down to it.
