If we trade Kesler, Edler and Luongo I'd be happy. The return would help retool, move the twins to a lesser second line role while adding 2-3 nhl ready solid players, 2-3 prime prospects and 2-3 first round draft picks.

Twins are 74 and 76 in scoring, this should have been a no brainier to scale them back and bring in younger top line players. They should have been negotiated at the end of the year instead of BIINDLY handed an extension and raise. We will be stuck with those stupid contracts for 4 more years.

Time to move Burrows out , Hansen does his job at half the rate. Time to move Higgins and bring a real 2 nd liner in.

Higgins is serviceable and will keep us in a solid 20 th spot. I hope that is not what our goal is.

Hansen is one of the best third liners IMO.

Love to have Simmonds, he's what this team needs, but I don't see them trading their second leading scorer. Kesler for B Schenn, Laughton and a 1st I'd love to see though.
