I'm a fan of the Hoff, but not at that term and not at this time for the Canucks, time to get younger. But damn, I wish Ballard would have been waived to see if maybe he could have been claimed and that money could have been used to keep the Edler-Ehrhoff pairing together, those guys with the Sedins were great.

I'm pretty set on the main piece on my part, at least for the guy I asked for this time. I'd add a secondary piece, but I do think my offer was pretty close to fair considering their respective ages and outputs.

You pretty much nailed it. He was very usefull when he was here....less so when he left and definitly not someone I've expressed in returning to the Canucks this far in his career.

1970 isnt very smart apparently. If he was, he would have understood that any of my comments about Samuelson were that we never got an upgrade when Booth was acquired. One can only assume 1970 is a really big Booth fan if my remarks equal having a boner for Samuelsson. Its the same logic basically.

I was a fan of letting Samuelsson walk over being anchored to David (frank)ing Booth. That doesnt make me a big Samuelsson fan. Pointing out that Florida won that trade simply by getting rid of Booth also doesnt make me a big Samuelsson fan. I knew we had to move on...

If Kesler gets traded the Canucks would need a center in return. There is no way Schroeder can be the 2nd line center. No guarantees that Gaunce or Horvat can make the jump next year either. That is why guys like Schenn and Johanson look good right now.

It looks to me that Schroeder wont be a impact player for the Canucks. He also wont have much trade value. Not a passing grade on that draft. A dead end 1st rounder hurts this team after trading away other well developed 1st rounders in the same time frame (Grabner, Hodgson and Schneider) on top of the 1st rounder wasted in the Ballard deal. If Jensen ends up added to the list its a (frank)ing disaster....

He's defensively weak at times without the pucks but if he gets the puck its instantly in the offensive zone while we maintain possession.

Im not realistically exploring the idea of him returning. I honestly think that some of the Canuck players and AV used him as an scape goat after that playoff run to deflect their own chokes. I think both sides are not fond of each other.
