The Pens board were offering up Sutter and maybe Bennett in trade. Neither of them are in the good books of any one single Pens fan.
It's always the same sh!t at HB: send us your quality asset and we'll send you under-performing spare parts because, hey, maybe a change of scenery will turn them into all-stars. - AlexF
So.........Ballard and Raymond for Kesler. |

8 hits 2 shots 1 BS for Gudbranson - VANTEL
8 hits gotta love the high-end peripheral stats guys (if he can ever get some offense going, look out) |

If anyone wants to see how (frank)en stupid Cloutier is go read his blog. The doesn't know poop form shinola. Smartest thing Ek ever did getting rid of that ass. He is suggesting Kesler for Gagner and a 2015 2nd rounder. |

what would you expect/want back? either from the pens or generic terms. |

My lineup is not a scoring lineup they are bangers and PIM getters. I needed to do something until I draft some point getters in the draft |

Pass I popped in there a few times to see what the deal was. No deal. |

Canucks don't have to do poop. They can sit back and wait until some GM comes in and overplays. |

before Letang's misfortunes. Do they want to trade their best prospect who happens to be an offensive Dman with Letangs uncertain future? |

Teams that are sniffing to see if they can get Kesler, better realize it would need to be a massive overpayment that made the Canucks better. Gillis will not trade to make this team worst. Unless you willing to give a lot no need to inquire. He will remain a Canuck. |

have to give to get though. and they cant really afford to create a hole in the roster with the depth issues they have. so something of value is going to have to go back. |

i mean there is always a need to inquire. any GM that isnt doing so isnt doing his due diligence, so i dont buy that.
i dont claim to know whats actually going on with him, but should a player really want to be moved, its hard to get full value back. im not saying he should be giftwrapped for a b prospect and a third either, but if if its true he is looking to be moved it does grease the wheels a tad. |

I think some poolies tend to underestimate the quality peripheral stat guys. They can really make a difference in the grand scheme of things, even if you don't necessarily have a lot of high-end scoring talent |

Well this time around Bettman won't be able to interfere like he did with Luongo contract, Keslers is set . So again Gillis probably won't do poop ,unless some one offers a massive overpayment. Kesler can then decide to play for the Canucks , or Swedish Elite League ,KHL or retire. |

i personally like that hardball approach. like MSL, saying trade me, but ill only waive for the rangers. like sorry guy. if you want to be moved fine, i dont want someone who doesnt want to be here. but youre going where i can move you. this isnt free agency. if you want that, youre going to rot until youre eligible. |

Gillis will stay pat on this. He just can't let his stars walk for mediocre trades.Dreger is an idiot and knows poop. He has his head so far up Nonis's ass he cal lick his tonsils. Kesler brings too much to this team to let him go for nothing . We are better served Keeping him.
The good thing is Kesler has one of the many NTCs and some need to be moved , but it has to be a good move for Canucks. |

Shut up and play or your a$s will never leave the bench. Healthy scratch every few games to attract attention and pis$ MSL off. Your payed to play and doing yourself no favours by putting yourself in a bad spot. |

i agree. even if you guys are going through a pseudo retool or whatever you wish to label it as, you arent dumping the whole team. kesler is a guy that is more of the solution than a problem. i ultimately dont see him being moved either. but if he was hypothetically to be, id definitely be interested within reason |
