Demanding a trade out of Vancouver worked so well for the last player who tried it
Gillis is about as accommodating as a roach infested motel........ |

Does it have free continental breakfast? I'd consider staying there if that was the case. |

If that's the case and they reportedly want a young center why not center something around gagner for kesler |

"no way Kadri for Kesler 1 for 1...Leafs would need a high pick and maybe a prospect atleast. Not Saying Kadri is a sure fire player, but his age and contract situation is worth more than Kesler"
This is happening right now - nucks_94
Considering Kesler is on pace for 50 points whys he worth so much? No way I'd trade Kadri for Kesler Staight up. Makes no sense for the leafs |

Gagner is still only 24 and had a lights out year last year. Season got derailed this year cause of the injury but last half of the season he has picked it up susbstantially |

I'm not going to give you the hard sell. If you don't want him, that's fine.
Kesler and Kadri are very different types of player. |

Story of his entire career.
Let me ask you this, which team gets better if that trade happens? |

I honestly don't think I've heard anyone say they want Ganger on their team right now, this including Edmonton fans.. |

If the report is true (that Kesler wants out) he has a full NTC and I would somehow very much doubt he'd waive to go from one fishbowl market to an even bigger fishbowl market.
My money is that a US team would be the preferred choice. |

I said center it around I wouldn't even be opposed to van and edm swapping first rounders in this draft to even it out I think that should even it out quite a bit. Van will have mid to late edm sadly is almost guaranteed top five in a weak draft. |

Sorry, just find it crazy people think Kesler has so much value. He's a good player but he's getting older and the way he plays is or is going to take a toll on his body.. |

Exactly, yet people will propose trades. Make stupid comments from both sides and then a troll fest will start with the same old repeated poop. |

Yeah, I get the Leafs not wanting to make that deal since they're not a SC contender. |

The Pens board were offering up Sutter and maybe Bennett in trade. Neither of them are in the good books of any one single Pens fan.
It's always the same sh!t at HB: send us your quality asset and we'll send you under-performing spare parts because, hey, maybe a change of scenery will turn them into all-stars. |

How about throw in your 1st rounder and add gagner so the canucks still have an NHL center.... because no team builds around a center that barely makes it as a 2nd Center on the worst team in the league.

Haters ragging on Kesler's value. Gotta love it.
Erat got Forsberg for nashville.... Erat.... Ya Kesler couldn't get Kadri...He's clearly only worth Sutter and a 2nd... |

Teams that will value Kesler the most (and will likely give up more than others to get him) will be teams that are legitimate contenders, looking for extra centre depth for cup runs over the next 3 seasons, or a team like Columbus who might think Kesler could put them over the hump and get them into the playoffs, and help generate some extra revenue. |
