If the pens trade for kesler, then who are his wingers? Pyatt and glass? Pens would have to grab a competent winger as well if they expect kesler's line to be a shutdown line |

Without a player going back in the deal according to Cap Geek Minny has 5 mil in space at TDL and that is what Keslers salary is. Cap space going up next year they get rid of Healy they can still get Vanek - VANTEL
So now they are getting Vanek and Kessler?! And who exactly is going to play goal? Have to be a beer leaguer if they are spending upwards of 12 million on two forwards. |

I don't think he should go to Pits...He should go to Phi or Columbus, Center piece... Brayden Schenn or Ryan Johansen and plus! Schenn or Johansen over Suter! I hate to see Kesler go tho. Damn Gillis better be smart with this! |

Kesler has the ability to play like 25 min a game.
Stick him on Sid's wing when behind and on the PP well shifting him to shutdown other top lines and play the PK.
Check his stats when playing alongside Henrik, most notably on the PP.
Thing is you guys have no offense to send back... - Whiskey-Tango
Thing is ... you have zero offense in Vancouver so why trade him?

Woahhhh big fella. As much as like and admire Keslers play i cant see the Flyers giving up all of that. Voracek is signed for another two years at a very reasonable price and he is Giroux's winger. Schenn and Laughton i could see happening. But then again its holmgren so god only knows what ridiculousness he is willing to do to make this team tougher meaner and nastier. FML its not 1975 anymore!!!! |

I love Keslers game, I think he is exactly what they are lacking. However, every time I hear his name hes injured again. Not too sure about him with Letang constantly being out. |

Kunitz and Martin have been out more than Kesler and Letang in the last handful of seasons. |

I would take Letang out of the equation there chief. He will have been out 100 games in his last three years and one of those years was a half season. Letang is one of the most brittle players in the league as it stands now. Concussions; lower body injuries; holes in the heart; food poisoning ... you name it, Letang has missed games for. |

Again, Bylsma doesn't see the big picture. Engo needs to stay on our fourth line the rest of the way out. Sad thing is, he is the only production we seem to get on that line. |

Giroux, Kesler, Lecav
Edler solidifies Philly's defense ( for once)
Kes is signed for another 2 years at 5, Edler another 4 years at 5.
Kesler plays Giroux's wing on the PP.

Since Letang's first full season in the league (2008-09), he's played 349 games. In that same time period, Paul Martin has played 312.
Even in the last two seasons, Letang has played 69, Martin has played 67. |

Kesler will be playing 1 st line with Parise so forget your fantasies - VANTEL
I like how you think
But all seriousness, I couldn't see Kesler fitting in the lineup too well on the Pens. On most teams around the league, Kesler would be the #1 or 2 center on the team. Even if the Wild were to acquire him, we already have Koivu..... and Granlund is blossoming in to something special. I highly doubt either will be moved. But in the event, how does Coyle, Zucker & a 1st sound? |

He is obviously going to be the odd man out this year at the trade deadline. That's a shame. |

I'd roll Bennett and Megna with Kes for the playoffs... No it's not an all star line but having Kesler alone is a big shutdown advantage and Bennett's pass to Kesler will pay off. Significant offense upgrade for the 3rd line, while improving the D. Kesler is above Sutter in every department |

Three natural centers on the top line? No thanks! Edler a -23 on pace to be over a -30. Solidify? Blame Torts all you want there is something off with him. yes he has been a point producer and pretty solid defensivley over the past couple of years but i cant see giving up the house for a center they dont really need and a dman who has a -23 rating even though its only one season. |

Completely off topic, but the Wild have one of the best Logos in all of sports. That thing is badass. |
