Kopitar, Toews, Hossa and Bergeron are definitely special players and are probably four of the most well rounded players in the league. The others....they are great and are well rounded but probably average a min per game of shorthanded time at most. Those four I listed are special cases, not the norm. All I am really saying is that you don't need super stars on your PK to have a good one. Most teams don't put their stars out on the pk on a regular basis.

It's actually interesting to check out. Marleau, Pavelski, Nash, St. Louis.

I wasn't sure, but when I watch other teams play I do notice some big talent on the pk. Now that I check it is out there.

No stat means less - Engelland has played quite well this season, in whatever role he's been asked to play.

Wasn't making a comparison, just throwing it out there.

With the average players we roll out on the PK it is amazing they are ranked as high as they are.

The loss of Dupuis is felt on the PK the most IMO.

I agree that the bottom 6 sucks, but how does the PK suffer we re 1st in the league!!!!!

Yeah more so than the pens but when you don't have to put your stars out there on the pk it saves them for pp and ever strength or even the last 30 seconds of the pk to take advantage of the tired pp unit which is what they do with Malkin and Crosby. Just rather not have the stars taking slap shots and blocking shots on the pk. Imo of course.

I feel like we should trade for him and just bury him in the minors so no one else can have him.

That was like the one where a player runs up behind his opponent and lifts the other guys hand into his face and the ref calls it.
