Let's not assume anything. The chances of getting Kesler are slim to none. By the way, was that you on HFboards making an offer for Kesler? - Oneonta Penguin
According to Tiops, Vancouver is scouting this game. He says they rarely ever come to the Consol. |

I really don't think it's crazy to think it could happen. is it certain? far from it, a much more desperate team could make a better offer.... but I think it's fair to say that the penguins have interest in him. |

If there was any dialouge between Pittsburgh and Vancouver for Kesler and I'm sure Shero knows who is coming to the building, Despres would have been in the game, if he was being talked about. |

Can't argue with that. Like I said before, With so many scouts here, it's strange Despres wouldn't be playing in this game if he's being shopped.

Engo has more goals this year (5) than Orpik, Martin, Scuderi, Bortuzzo, and Despres combined (3 - 2 from Martin, 1 from Orpik). - hardnosed
Engelland is also negative 4, thats worse than all those guys combined also.

Florida has a few I would consider. Upshall on the third line; I don't know if Fleischman would be available. Bergenheim is a pain in the ass to play against and wouldn't be a bad pickup depending on price.

No stat means less - Engelland has played quite well this season, in whatever role he's been asked to play. |

Kopitar, Toews, Hossa and Bergeron are definitely special players and are probably four of the most well rounded players in the league. The others....they are great and are well rounded but probably average a min per game of shorthanded time at most. Those four I listed are special cases, not the norm. All I am really saying is that you don't need super stars on your PK to have a good one. Most teams don't put their stars out on the pk on a regular basis. |
