New pool rule;
Nobody is allowed to "win" a trade. - Fosco
Easy fix: Get rid of the veto option. If someone makes a mistake, so be it. |

Well, he's guaranteed an extra $10M and has to work for 2 less years. So it's $10M and 2 years of his / their life together.
Or he could sign another contract for those 2 extra years and add to that additional $10M.
Rich hockey player or not, $10M is a tonne of money. - KB3Point0
True, plus as a UFA he was free to sign anywhere, could have even signed with the Panthers if he really wanted to stay in Florida. But I also get what nucks_94 is saying. |

Absolutely. Don't get me wrong, I don't feel sorry for Vinny at all, and this is getting a bit away from my original point... which was that player-team loyalty seems to be a rare thing these days. Which is why I generally don't have a problem with players asking to be traded. |

I don't have a problem with players asking to be traded either. That being said, if MSL is asking to be traded because he wasn't included on the original Team Canada roster then I will lose a tonne of respect for him. I am not going to assume that's why at this point, but if it turns out to be why then he is 100% wrong and is just being a whiny b*tch. |

On the surface, to me, it looks like he's mad because he didn't get picked by Yzerman. Heard nothing of him not being happy before that happened. - LeftCoaster
Kesler to minny for Granlund, Dumba and 1st. They lose nothing off their current roster as Kesler is currently an upgrade on Granlund.
Edler for Vorecek
Hansen for McGinn and 2nd

Since I'm no longer in the trade marked in the pool, I can now fully turn my attention to recruiting new members, coming up with slogans and setting up draft parties and also potential riots if the team goes on a winning streak! - Nucker101
You can start on the T-shirt design, maybe Booth on a beach after being sent home. |

Easy fix: Get rid of the veto option. If someone makes a mistake, so be it. - Chest Rockwell
Yeah, I probably should have got rid of it earlier, but I've never been in a pool where it was abused like this.
Consider it gone.
Not that it will help much this close to the deadline.
The frequent player movement—spurred mostly by Nucker—was one of the most entertaining aspects of this pool.
And now, thanks to a few people who had equal opportunity to make offers on the same players that Nucker traded for, his involvement and interest in the pool will be much lower.
Sorry to come off like I'm lecturing, but I think this is pure garbage, and unfortunately can't be reversed...
EDIT: and this isn't directed at Lefty, since he's already apologized. |

With no veto option the trade could just be re-sent. Apart from a few hours of anger, perhaps Nucker could be re-invigorated! |
