I will add this. It is my experience at least the Canucks fans are completely head over heels for Ryan Kesler. I remember at the Vancouver games, despite him playing for USA, fans telling me they were torn about cheering against a Ryan Kesler team in the gold medal game.

There's just very little on CLB I'd want other than Johansen, so I really hope **if he's traded** it's to a team with realistic assets that could help the Canucks.

No. If he can trade him by the deadline great. If he can get more value at the draft, which has been suggested by multiple people, then he can hang onto him until then.

This is not the same thing as the Luongo situation. Kesler would be the most sought after player available in the summer. And he has a great contract (apart from the NTC, which may limit a few options).

Don't get me wrong, I'd love them to get Johansen and would be alright with adding to Kesler to get him, but he's their franchise moving forward, and there's little else.

The Minnesota package that BXA3 has been mentioning is solid.
