We get it the Blues are good. Can we just please wait to see what happens and not have this crap conversation over again? - ImThatGuy
this is the first time i have said anything on this subject at all.
im not here to tell everyone the Blues are good. never even said that. i came here to discuss a possible trade and multiple fans on your end started whining about it.

It terms of playoffs hes elite - hubie
It doesn't work that way. Either a guy is elite, or he's not. None of this "only during the playoffs" stuff. |

You said that you KNOW that CHI and STL have better prospects pools than BUF..
I showed you the most trusted website for prospect individual and team rankings shows that Buffalo has better than both of those..
That is proof... what you are saying is completely subjective.. mine is backed up by a highly highly trusted website. - JVince11

I was pointing out the obvious to you and you ducked it...
The first insult was that outrageous offer of a 15 game goalie in halak and a 50+ draft pick for Miller. - JVince11
Technically that draft pick would be 31st as they would trade edm pick from the perron trade, I would also throw in stewart |

We have had this conversation about 500 times with Blues fans, you may not have been apart of it, but it has been discussed to death.
And this is how it usually ends up. |

I said it in the offseason and I'll say it again, Philly is still my dark horse to land Miller. I know it’s a looooong shot, but something I could see Philly doing. They never shy away from makes big splashes. Hides |

i asked which question you think i am ducking and you didnt reply with it. instead you reply with this...
so what am i avoiding agian? - spencerelliott
2 things...
#1
You said STL doesn't need Miller to win a cup.. I said that history shows that you need a top 5-7 goalie to win the cup...
You said... nooo.. you need a tissue...
We came up with a few goalies that could be questionable as "elite" or "top 5-7" but still overall 75-80% of cup winning teams have had a atleast a top 7 goalie in order to win the cup.
Show me something that can support your side of the argument?
#2
I said that with two very good drafts and hoping to get McDavid and Reinhart to add to our already #2 ranked prospect system that we should be able to be a contender in a few years...
you said.. no way.. STL and CHI have better prospect pools by far..
I showed you Hockeysfuture rankings which is about the best you can find which proved you wrong.
Show me proof of your side of the argument or were you just blowing smoke?

No you came to stir up it up . Make ridiculous proposed trades that you knew were outlandish and would get emotions flowing . Don't worry our new GM would rather not trade Miller then not get a fair return . He does not want to establish his rep as a push over. Hope you guys have a great playoff run. |

You'd throw in Stewart?
Well Buf is gonna have the 31st overall I would assume this year.. so if it is EDM's 2nd then it would be 32nd...
it would also be our 4th 2nder that we would possess this season. |

I would cry myself to sleep if I had to see Miller in a Flyers sweater..
aren't they doing pretty bad this year though? |

I could see that I guess. But I don't know what they have that they'd be willing to give up. I don't know enough about their prospect pool at this point to even say, "I'd like this guy" or anything like that.
I like Couturier or Brayden Schenn, but I don't see them giving either guy up for a rental. |

It is all opinion.
The Blues had one of the best hockey prospect pools a few years back based on opinion that is shwoing now.
Those same people are now saying the Sabres have one of the best prospect pools.
Again all opinions, but from people in held in high regard arouind the league and media circles. |

But that doesn't make them elite players. That makes them great playoff performers. There's a difference. |

don't even try to start making personal or family insults... That is just beyond approach... a lot of us come on here during our work day to have conversations..
that is just a idiotic comment to make and should be ban-able. |
