I respect the classics, and there will always be a few older songs from my youth that will never quite get old to me, but by and large, I'm always on the quest for new music. I know the words and could name any Zeppelin tune in 3 notes. If they come on the radio I'll listen and sing along, but I would almost never choose to listen to them anymore. I've moved on with my musical life.

I still laugh about the time you called Springsteen "that blowhard motherf****r."

As I said then...i'll always love Bruce...but respect your opinion...but that still makes me laugh

My kids control the radio anyway. But I agree.

The Beatles and Stones are in a class all by themselves. Their music will remain timeless and fresh to me.

The Stones Mick Taylor era is the best

I like it all. As long as the riff master is a part of it.

Question: I'm going to the game Saturday and taking the train in......is there a bus that goes from Union/Ogilve station to Soldier Field?

Won't see the Stones at this point and i'm a Zeppelin disciple forever, but the Stones have eclipsed Zep as my favorite band ever. Love 'em both and i'm now just a sad geriatric hold'n on to yesterday.

Heard from an old friend who is close to FO......here is what he told me.

The Hawks want the repeat as bad as they wanted the cup last year and are looking at every avenue possible with hopes of accomplishing their goal. The mindset is they want to be considered a "historic franchise" in the historic realm of the NHL. With the core being what it is they are trying to squeeze everything they can out of it. Two factors have played into this.......the lack of cup hangover this year and StanBo getting more confident with what is in the pipeline for the future. The word is someone may go in a trade who is currently on the roster provided the return is justified. Do not expect anyone on the defensive side of the team to go unless a dman is in the return. TT is the only untouchable in the pipeline. The only possible way he is traded is if a 2C is in the return. If a big move is about to be made it is a good chance the Zus Caboose goes on LTIR a day or two before something happens....back injuries have a way of being hard to diagnose.

The same source told me a couple of months ago the Hawks will be in the 2016 Winter Classic in Notre Dame Stadium against the Bruins/Rangers/Blues....provided renovations are completed in South Bend.

The old man Bowman is high on Stephen Johns ...he has been to several games at ND and expects him in RFD this season.

- UnnamedSource

I Tweeted about playing at ND in front of about 80,000...The huge redo there puts that one on the radar.

I agree with everything about wanting to repeat but unless a big piece of the team is traded there will be no huge splash. The #'s don't work....and they aren't going to trade a regular for a rental.

So in essence nothing noteworthy can happen...

If the season ends poorly something big could happen at the draft....

The Hawks won't trade TT not only because they like him but he isn't good enough to bring back a top center alone and the #'s won't work anyway.

Bowman won't deal him for a rental. After March 5th any combo of Ice Hogs can up, including Pirri.

They need a dman back and the reason Kostka left could be because they like someone better....Someone who isn't a big name or a big cost like Derek Smith of the Flames.

....Or maybe Goc from Florida.

Just saying it was interesting that Scotty likes Johns that much. I'm intrigued a ton by his potential as well.

Love me Zep as much as anyone. Physical Grafitti's prolly my fave album with the others right there as well.

Stones have obviously been around longer and their catalog is pretty cool too.

Yeah that's true. I never saw a group with such a high % of great songs as the beatles. Stones weren't that far behind. Always liked how media built up this good guys vs. Bad guys feud. They got along pretty good in reality
