bickel is steal at 4mil a year. Hawks got a deal when they got him for 4 mil because i am sure other teams were offering 5mil. lol

Bickel will not last when he elevates his play(speed and phsyicality), that is why he gets injured more often then not, especially in the playoffs. And now the knuckehead has played conservatively after the injury, it will not help when it is playoff time. But hard to get excited with 8mins of icetime with new linemates everygame.

When you start going through it TC, how many physical 2-way centers are there? Especially those that play the 2C role.

Definitely not many. I guess that is why they are targeting gritty wingers. I can't see any deal for centers now, but philly has 2 I really like in schenn and couturier. Not saying they trade them. Same with Florida and bjugstad.. While girgensons on Buffalo is not a #2 I still like him. I don't think Buffalo trades him. I know you don't like Eller.

Don't buy into the idea that Bickell will be moved at all. The cap numbers would have to work out perfectly.

This regime has no recent history of dealing anyone off the current roster. The last time it happened, and correct me if I'm wrong, was Wisniewski to the Ducks for Sammi Pahlsson in '09, and that was because he (Wiz) was going to be an RFA and they knew they couldn't keep him.
