If I remember correctly, these guys (and Smith) went on a run late in the season last year too.

Morin has a 10 game point streak.

He's one of the Rockford prospects I'm really hoping turns out. I know he's had a couple NHL cups of coffee and hasn't stuck but he could be a solid addition to the bottom 6.

It one of the things I like about Morin. You never have to tell him to shoot the puck. If he learns how to move the puck and then himself into a better position, he will have a spot somewhere, imo.

Eli. In your opinion, have you seen a growth in that aspect of the game from Morin?

Bastard sons (daughters?) , maybe, but none that I would take ownership of.

Yup, I agree but probably not in Chicago.

Absolutely nothing Morin has ever really pleased Q. He's back on the Greyhound bus to Rockford as fast as Q can make it happen because his defence and positioning ain't to the coach's liking.

I have felt all along this was a transition year. A year for some of their "prospects" to gain professional experience. Team just do not repeat in the salary cap era. Hell, even before then only one team could do it in the last 30 years.

What prospects gained valuable experience?
That was an issue....Q didn't do much to help add to the depth.
